4/5/2012: Day 16

Let me start by saying I don’t think it’s a good idea to drink Starbucks close to bedtime again…it was after 3am before I finally settled down for bed last night and I didn’t really feel tired then!  I got up around 6am to get Andrew off to work and just stayed up so I could work on things while the kids were in bed.  Around 2pm I bombed!  I had the kids at the playground and I felt this very strong desire to lay down on the grass and take a nap!  I mean, it was something I REALLY wanted to do!  I knew it was time for a siesta! I herded the girls back to the RV and Sarah and I laid down and took a much needed nap…not a long one, mind you, but a nap nonetheless!  I couldn’t tell you the last time I had a nap.  It felt good!   Anna and Emma hung out in the camper and played.  They made sure I didn’t sleep too long :).

I have wonderful news…I got my Georgia driver’s license today!  Hurray!!!  We’ll work on the tags next week…the license was taxing enough.  Whew!  Slowly but surely things are coming together.  This is the first time I’ve changed states and there’s a lot to be done.

As I mentioned earlier, the girls got to play at the playground today.  It kills them when they see kids there and they can’t go out right away!

It was a beautiful day here today but when the wind blew it was still a little chilly.   We had our first official campfire tonight complete with smores…yum!  I could eat so many of those things!  I wonder who came up with the idea for smores, anyways? I’ll have to google it and find out!  That sounds like a good school assignment for Anna!

Well, I’m turning in earlier tonight to try and get me some sleep! Good night all!
