I’m on the verge of being a narcoleptic…seriously! I can’t sit down for more than 5 minutes and I’m asleep and dreaming! I took Anna to softball practice this evening and I got so sleepy I didn’t know if I was going to make it (and it isn’t that far away from the campground). I think it may be the hours we’re spending in the sun at the pool. It can drain you. I’m sitting here right now trying to finish this blog post and I keep nodding off (mind you, I’m still at the beginning).
Maybe I need to get up and do a few jumping jacks. Hold that thought…
Okay, I got up and walked around a bit and…still yawning! I’d better make this one quick ’cause I’m not going to hold out much longer.
Like I said, we’ve been going to the pool daily and it’s really great because there aren’t very many people here right now and we basically have the whole pool to ourselves (really nice). Well, today was an unforgettable swim day because Emma learned to swim underwater! I couldn’t believe it. She has been doing great wearing her floaties and she’s been practicing dunking her head. She took her floaties off today and put her goggles on to practice going under the water and within 5 minutes or so she was swimming under water! I suspect she will quickly pick up above water swimming as well. That’s HUGE in a kid’s life…to learn to swim! She has had me call our family today and tell them about it! Very exciting! Now I’m going to have to work on Sarah!
My eyes are about to shut for good. I’m going to have to get some sleep…goodnight!
