8/11/2013: Day 143

“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

1 Corinthians 12:13

Today was a day I won’t soon forget (I hope I never will).  We were privileged to be witnesses to an amazing event…the baptism of our daughter.  It truly was beautiful.  God held the rain and even rolled back the clouds and let the sun shine for awhile (my exact prayer…answered).  We were surrounded by dear family and friends and Jesus was in the midst.   The best part is it was a double baptism!  My friend’s little boy, BD2, was also buried in that liquid grave.  What an awesome day for our children to share!  Such sweet memories.

And the cake…best reason to celebrate I know of!

And of course we had to eat at La Casa afterwards!

What a glorious day!  I will be rejoicing about it for years to come!  🙂
