10/27/2013: Day

Buried Alive!

Emma was taken down to (what we Christians call) the liquid grave today.

Even though the weather was chilly (and the water) she wanted to be baptized in the lake. We were so proud of her!

The day was made even more special because my parents were able to be there for it. 🙂  They  made it in this morning before church.  I can’t tell you how thankful I was they were able to witness it.

She told me later that she noticed a fish nibbling on Israel’s pant leg.  Kids. 🙂

…up with the new! We sure were rejoicing and we weren’t the only ones.

“Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”  Luke 15:10

The Rumfelt kids sang a song we love that was so fitting.

“I don’t have to worry, cause Jesus saved my soul. I don’t have to worry.  Hell won’t be my home.  I don’t have to worry where I’ll spend eternity, for I will be in Heaven with Jesus my King.  I don’t have to worry.”

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”  Romans 6:4

So thankful for salvation!
